Your eyes must be better than mine, or you remember the specific moment of crocheting. The winter painting (one of my early works :o)above the couch is now in our home. Next time you are here - see if you can find it. Also - the advent calendar on the wall was like the one our family had for years. Grandma had given one to each Gordon family. I think it now hangs in Brian's home - or in a box at his house.
We used the advent wall hanging for several years when the kids were little. Unfortunately, one winter a heavy snow caused our kitchen roof to leak and terribly stained the calendar. What a loss! I think of it every year and wish we still had it:(
My Dad liked photography as a hobby and his family made for interesting subjects to capture on film or should I say slides.
There aren't many pictures with him in them so I titled this blog "What my Dad saw".
The rear view mirror header I think summes it up well. I remember Dad saying "I am gonna take a picture of what I see every time I look in the mirror".
This is my families history, thanks for coming and enjoy.

Chad looks nice. Why is he wearing a sport coat? I also notice it's the era of yarn crochet.

I think Brett means latch hook. There is one laying on the floor.
Yes, latch hook. Whoever is sitting next to me on the couch has a work in progress.
