Pastor McCalister teased Dad that every time I changed my hairstyle he thought Dad was bringing a female visitor to church with him. Cheap way to keep our marriage alive. Who would have known it would be a source of entertainment
Very kind words from Tracy. Perhaps a little something extra will be under the Christmas tree for you.The orange top was a bathing suit. I think this was taken at a choice motel on one of the family adventures. When enlarged, I noticed the blurs in the background. You can acutally tell that the blurs are Brian and Brett. I am sure they were bouncing off of the 2nd double bed behind me - a favorite thing of kids (and grandkids) to do while in motels. Yes - me and dad have shared a few bouncy trouncy moments as well!
My Dad liked photography as a hobby and his family made for interesting subjects to capture on film or should I say slides.
There aren't many pictures with him in them so I titled this blog "What my Dad saw".
The rear view mirror header I think summes it up well. I remember Dad saying "I am gonna take a picture of what I see every time I look in the mirror".
This is my families history, thanks for coming and enjoy.

Some people keep getting better as they age and I would say Emmalea falls in that category. The last picture could be clouding my judgement though...
