Spock entered the vortex to go back to his childhood.
This one doesn't animate very well but you can see Spok stretch into the vortex.

Are you kidding me? What WOULDN'T I try to bring back. I'd get back to the vortex and the vortex guard would be like, "Sir, that double-wide truck full of toys, fondue pots, and macrame toilet covers will not fit through the vortex."
However, I would probably try to bring back my dignity. I seem to have lost that somewhere along the way.
What would I bring back? A map of where I buried everything I stole from department store toy aisles while I was in the past.
I'd even be so bold as to leave fingerprints behind for all my crimes.
"Umm, Sarge, these fingerprints...we have a match...only...
"Well what is it? Bring him in here Detective Jenkins, quit stalling and...WHA?!?!"
*six year old me strolls into interrogation room*

Brian- Toys I knew would be on your list but macrame and fondue that is 70's.
Bubba- Your the guy that if he was when given three wishes uses the first wish to wish for a million more wishes. One thing a map, clever.
Me- I wish they made adult size Big Wheels.
A man can never have enough macrame toilet seat covers. He just can't.
