You did a fantastic job, Parents...both in the wedding you orchestrated and more still in the wonderful life you gave Megan.
I wrote to a friend that the evening was so perfect that I could imagine the snowflakes that were drifting down all around them as they left the reception were really angels that begged to get a glimpse of this special couple. So many attended that they decided to give their gift of adding a blanket of beauty and peace to the ending of that perfect day.(However, I did notice that angels don't like to be squished -- they really did get slippery).
My Dad liked photography as a hobby and his family made for interesting subjects to capture on film or should I say slides.
There aren't many pictures with him in them so I titled this blog "What my Dad saw".
The rear view mirror header I think summes it up well. I remember Dad saying "I am gonna take a picture of what I see every time I look in the mirror".
This is my families history, thanks for coming and enjoy.
